What they are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers that a website stores on the user’s device.
What this website uses
- First-party cookies: this website does not use cookies.
- Browser storage: if users pause the animated ribbons, the website remembers it while the tab is open (the browser’s session storage). It is deleted when the tab is closed, does not identify anyone and does not require consent, because it only serves what the user has asked for.
- Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies or track users across websites. It only collects aggregated data (pages viewed, country, device) without identifying anyone.
- Third-party content subject to consent: YouTube videos are not loaded until the user clicks on them. When they do, YouTube (Google LLC) may set its own cookies for functionality, measurement and advertising purposes, in accordance with its policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies (opens in a new tab). If the user does not click, nothing is set.
How to manage consent
Users decide for each video whether they want to load it. They can withdraw consent by deleting cookies in their browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge have a “Privacy” or “Cookies” section in their settings.
