Visit Madrid

This policy describes the data processing of the mobile application Visit Madrid, a guide to the Villas de Madrid and their World Heritage destinations with holograms in augmented reality and 360° video, developed for the Region of Madrid.

Personal data

The application:

• Does not ask for registration or signing in.
• Does not request identifying data.
• Does not collect personal data.
• Does not create profiles or track users.

Camera permission

The application asks for access to the camera only to display the holograms in augmented reality. Camera images are processed on the device: they are not stored or sent to any server.

Location permission

The application asks for access to location only to place the user on the map, guide them towards points of interest and activate the content for each place. Location is used on the device: it is not stored or sent to any server.

Internet connection

To display maps and content, the application connects to the Internet. The services it connects to receive the technical data of any connection, such as the IP address, and process it according to their own privacy policy.

Third-party services

The application does not use analytics, advertising, payment or sign-in services.

Disclosure of data to third parties

As the application does not collect personal data, it does not disclose any to third parties.

User rights

As the application does not store personal data, there is no data in respect of which the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability could be exercised. For any privacy query, you can write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, Spanish Data Protection Agency) (aepd.es).
