Augmented reality for heritage and museums

A character who welcomes the visitor, a panel that turns into a video, a model that appears on the table: digital content over the real space.

Augmented reality
Devices
The visitor’s phone and tablet (WebAR with no installation, or a dedicated app), QR codes, geolocation

Who it is for

Museums, monuments, urban routes and interpretation centres that want to enrich the visit without installing screens or carrying out building work.

What it includes

Four formats that we combine to suit the space:

  • Holograms of historical figures (costumed actors who explain and recommend)
  • Information panels that come to life with a phone
  • 3D models and reconstructions on a marker or geolocated
  • Augmented reality souvenirs for the shop

A script written with historians, audiovisual production and content in at least Spanish and English.

How it is delivered

Through WebAR, from the phone’s browser with a QR code, with nothing to install; or built into the destination’s app. Markers and signage included.
